The Resistance series has been a fun and challenging experience for all of us who used to play online. Resistance Fall Of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3 have connected friends and families together while taking part in 16, 40 and 60 player online battles! Everyone who used to play online found out that SONY would be closing the online servers for this amazing series and would make us stop playing the games we love and have always loved.

 

Thousands of players used to still play the online Resistance series, but on the 8th of April 2014, everything was disconnected. All the friends. All the families. All the players - GONE!

 

While we all try to find other online games, we find out that some are a lot less popular are still online! 'Fear 3' currently only has 3 players online, 'Lost Planet' 2 - 15 players online, 'Lost Planet 2' - 15 players online and Killzone 2 - 23 players online.

 

So 'SONY' why have you done this '4 The Players'? Soon all the 'Players' will disconnect from you! We will all lose trust in you and we will all stop playing.

Sony i see that you have taken down the resistance servers. however games like planetside 2, call of duty, and many other old games still have ALL of their server up yet they have less people playing than the resistance community i would like for the servers to be brought back online.

you need thousands of people to complain in order to get sony to even consider upping dedicated servers for the resistance series. resistance didn't have anywhere near that amount of people playing any of the 3 games, even combined. you'd be lucky if even 1 thousand people played any of the 3 games during the last 12 months.

sony refuse to answer why resistance 3 was brought back online for a week, only that the developer or publisher made the call to terminate the online servers.

Resistance 2 Online Competitive was the only game that kept me tied loyally to SONY Playstation products. I only kept buying "Playstation" for the purpose of playing Resistance 2 Online. The spill-off effect is this... I keep a Playstation console (many different models over the years) in the home, and my family invests thousands and thousands of dollars in SONY Playstation products annually, including the network and other games. Had I not played R2Online, a different console would be in place and the decades of customer loyalty would have been given to another company such as XBOX, Wii, etc. SONY, do not create products that you will not support its endurance, because it is misleading. Your customer base is asking for it and you have the means to deliver it. You currently are not offering any outstanding spectacular games - for me - and many others globally agree the content has been mediocre. You can find the correct business model to meet the demand that exist.

Dude Resistace 2 best game ever! The only game that i will every play when getting home from school hen i was younger back when it had came out. Please sony bring back R2 best game ever!!! :,( If the servers ever do come back join my Clan :) N.1 i love R2!

Here is my solution SONY: Release a RESISTANCE TRILOGY MP on PSN. No campaign just MP only. Although I don't own a PS4 I'd buy one the moment the game is available for download.

I signed it coz although I don't really play any of the r1,r2fm and r3 I do really love games I flee if we don't have a right to play then that's not fair to anyone who's a hard core gamer also I wish I made a petition for psh but I back off the idea before I could even think about making one.
