Because I think the Executive Management Team of the Overstrand Municipality have been poorly advised. The horses bring special energy to Fisherhaven and Middlevlei. We residents are happy to live with them, and they, apparently with us.

It is time that we all slowed down - to allow other living creatures besides ourselves to safely live with us. I support the proposed management of the horses, which would include signs, preventing their access to the R43, education etc. I don't believe the 'problem' will simply go away if the horses are moved when the mouth is closed - they will most likely return! I am appalled that the views of Fisherhaveners on this matter have been largely ignored.

We want the Fisherhaven horses to be left alone, they have been living here for a long time. They do no harm and are peacful and content.

Because the horses do not harm anyone and are not a danger to anyone either or anything. They roam and graze around all day bothering no-one. They are a natural beauty to the surroundings and the wild SO LEAVE THEM ALONE. I grew up on a farm loved every bit of it and horses do soothe and console humans just like ours on the farm did including our milking cows. One has an endless time just sitting and watching these animals so please just leave the horses where they are --- in nature !

I signed this petition because the horses are an integral part of our environment. They are beautiful, healthy, are reproducing well and are obviously happy and contented living among us. We do not interfere with them and have signage warning visitors to treat them with respect. We love our horses! They are a part of what makes Fisherhaven, Fisherhaven. It would be a tragedy if they were lured away with food, then left to fend for themselves. Who is going to feed them once they have been lured away and become accustomed to getting food from a human? How cruel, thoughtless and simply plain stupid is this idea? LEAVE THEM ALONE! THEY CAN FEND FOR THEMSELVES AND WE ARE ALL HAPPILY LIVING TOGETHER! LEAVE THEM ALONE!

I used to live in Fisherhaven and I will never forget the beauty of the wild horses running free in the streets of that little town.

Wild animals need to roam free - the wild horse of Bot River are no different. Leave them alone and concentrate on managing people.

The horses have been there long enough to have adapted physically to the environment , which makes them unique. It is a privilege to have these beautiful creatures living wild in a beautiful place we should preserve them for future generations

Why must everything in nature be controlled, and then by idiots.

For many good reasons but, my concern is whether these horses will be accepted by the Kleinmond herd.

People often move out of the city to have a different way of life. Some to enjoy the space and nature that country life offers. Those horses have been there for 100s of years. They play an important part in the environment of the area. People should respect that and adapt accordingly.

In the UK wild horses are a tourist attraction, it is so rare. if there are issues surrounding the horses, try and resolve them whilst protecting their habitat.

We think the wild horses should be left to wander in Fisherhaven and Kleinmond as they wish and as they have been doing for many, many years. They do no harm and spread a lot of love. We could learn from them. Stop interfering, it is not our job. Leave nature alone. Humans have messed up too much already
