We have used Sheeplands for many years and have received excellent service from all of the staff and businesses there, it is a major employer in the area and serves the needs of the local communities extremely well. The loss of this facility would be a great shame, competition in the "marketplace" benefits the local population and the closure of Sheeplands would allow other similar establishments to raise prices and cost the consumers in the local area more for their gardening and other such products.

Hare Hatch Sheeplands is an excellent garden centre which employs local labour and sells lots of locally grown produce. It provides for all the family and is of great benefit to the local community of Twyford and Ruscombe and surrounding villages. It gives a very friendly and personalised service and shopping there for plants, produce or enjoying tea reinforces a local village atmosphere. Quite frankly it is one of the best things in this area!

Because we remember the site being semi- derelict and admire the energy that has gone into building a thriving business and allows other small businesses to prosper.

Business provides employment and serves the local community.
It replaced an eyesore that was of little use to anyone.

One of the best Garden Centres for miles around, staff and customer service cannot be found anywhere else, they all work so hard and also contribute so much to local charities Harr Hatch deserved to be left alone to continue doing what they do best

Hare Hatch Sheeplands is a real asset to the community. We live nearby and visit regularly, we would be lost without it. We are pensioners and regularly use the cafe, garden centre and farm shop. Why would anyone want to close the place down? It makes no sense!

I think hare hatch sheep lands is a great place to visit with a wide variety of small family businesses that could not afford to set up elsewhere. I believe these people should not have their livelihood taken from them because 'rules is rules' Councillors are voted in to do the best for the people not to become jobsworths.

Is it any wonder that people don't vote when people like you destroy livelihoods. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Think again n

This business provides an excellent service to the community as a whole. It provides resources that nourish our bodies and souls with huge commitment. The regular activities for children and families have been so beneficial and the craft markets are a true source of inspiration. the quality and diversity of plants and related materials is so good. Don!t remove what is such a positive experience from our lives. It is unnecessary and vindictive.

I can not believe council wants to stop such a good, local and beneficial for comuniy business! One could wonder if there is a pressure on the council from some "unknown" source......

Once again it looks as if local democracy and common sense stand for nothing

I believe in healthy competition. I also believe that Sheeplands is a very good addition to our local community and should be allowed to provide what the local people want.

Hare Hatch Sheeplands is a definite asset to the area, being independent and not one of the Big Names. It is a friendly place to go and everyone is courteous and efficient. The cafe is well run and the food delicious. The plants are top Quality and the staff knowledgable and helpful.

A friendly garden centre offering a good range of products at reasonable prices and giving employment to several local people.

Hare Hatch  Sheeplands is a tremendous asset to the local community. Wonderful to see a truly local business in operation instead of the chains of soulless garden centers...

Sheeplands provides a really useful range of services to the local community. We really don't have many services round here so Wokingham Council should be looking at ways to add to services in this area - not removing those that currently exist. The decision not to grant Sheeplands a Certificate of Lawful use should be overturned with some urgency before it is too late to undo the damage done.

Wokingham Council need to explain the double standards of them allowing the extension of Twyford Orchards onto green belt but not Sheeplands - which would the electorate support?

Unfair victimisation on behalf of Wokingham council

Because it is an enjoyable place to go and many other people would agree with men, I do not see any reason for it to be shut down.
