The roads around Ruxley Lane are already gidelocked for hours in the morning and late afternoon onwards. There has been far too much development allowed around this area in a short space of time.

As a local resident i do not think we need any more building except GP surgeries ,schools. Places for children to play .

Can everybody try to get a couple of friends/family to sign our petition - if 400 people get a couple each we will have the number we need to get it to Surrey County Council....thanks everybody!

Have our councillors learnt nothing from the closure of Epsom High School? More housing, more school places needed. Work with the community to earn the money for sports facilities which can be shared with the community, but keep all the land for the sole use of the school,
Ruxley Lane has had more than its fair share of building in the past few years with no facilities to back it. West Ewell County First has already had to increase its capacity and already has parking problems. Our councillors really need to look carefully at what the area needs and can sustain, listen to the residents.

I live very closely to Epsom and Ewell High school and had no idea that the proposal to sell off part of the grounds had been put forward again. The reasons for this being shelved previously have not changed. We now have more housing and two supermarkets in Ruxley Lane. We need our school and the facility to increase places. Our school and its land is far too important to think of selling it off it is the future for the children who have moved here.

Traffic is bad enough in West Ewell as it is. Cox lane Doctors appointments hard enough to book. Scotts farm road already used as a cut through from Horton end to Ruxely Lane.

This will increased traffic onto Ruxley Lane which is already congested at peak times. additionally the schools assets should be for future generations and not short term gain. This field could be used to raise cash for the school if utlised in the correct way.

Ruxley Lane already has too much traffic and the area is already overcrowded with all the recent development. Traffic lights at the junction of Ruxley Lane and Scotts Farm Road would make the rush hour gridlock into a nightmare.

Ruxley Lane is already full of traffic at school run times and extra cars and traffic lights would be a disaster for the area.
