Save M&S Woolwich

Marks & Spencer's Have Been A Valued Member Of The Community For Over 100 Years, The Majority Of Our
Customers Have Shopped With Us Since They Were Small and therefore We Have Grown
Together.

On The 2nd Of June Marks & Spencer Announced A Business Proposal To Close Various
Stores, This Includes Our Beloved Woolwich Store.

It Is devastating News For Not Only The Loyal 53 Staff Members But For The Entire
Community and The High Street As We Are Considered To Be The Heart Of Woolwich Town Centre. Our Grand Opening in 1913 meant We have witnessed Two World Wars, The Queens Coronation Through To Her Diamond Jubilee, The London Riots, The 2012 Olympics and Becoming A Royal Borough. In Each Of These Historical Events We Have
Mourned, We Have Cried, We Have Laughed And We Have Celebrated But We Have Done
This Together as a Community. The People Of Woolwich Have Never Stood Alone. We Are Sad To
Say That We Will Not Be part Of The Regeneration and Regrowth Of Woolwich Town
Centre If The Proposed closure Goes Ahead.

Upon Entering Woolwich Store It’s No Secret That It Is in Dire Need of
Modernisation, This Plays A Huge Part In The Proposed Closure. Although We Are
a 'Shabby Chic' Store This Does Not Dishearten Our Loyal Customers Or Deter New
Customers, All We Need Is Some Long Overdue TLC.

We Are Fighting To Save Not Only Our Woolwich Marks & Spencer But To Save The
Whole Community From Any Further
Deterioration Of A Much Loved High Street.

We are Asking For Everyone Everywhere To Support Us In Saving Our Store.

Please Sign And Share As Much As Possible, This Could Make A Huge Difference.

Thank you.
