Stop Florida’s House Bill 49 Banning Bongs - Sign the Petition

To: The State of Florida Senate

We ask that you change your laws banning bongs and glass pipes in the state of Florida.

Most Floridians do not agree with Bill 49 because it takes away an individual’s right to freedom of expression because stops glass blowers from having the ability to express themselves. Glass blowing is considered a form of art and many folks live off their glass blowing art. The authorities should not and must not be able to take away a person’s skill to express who they are.

The punishments imposed are completely crazy. The government considers the use or possession of what they think to be “drug paraphernalia” to be a third degree felony. This means, a person will no longer have the right to vote because they will be considered a Felon, even if they possess a brand new, unused pipe.

We have a plan to put an end to this unethical bill.

All American citizens must stand up for our rights and let the government know that we will no longer continue to let them take away our rights. We believe in the 10th Amendment which says the Federal Government has only been given the ability to pass laws on issues that Constitution actually has authority and control over.
