A Vote of No Confidence

A Vote of No Confidence

Over the past 15-20 years the leadership of both the House of Representatives and the Senate has increasingly
allowed special interests and the hope that better times are ahead to cloud their judgment on what is best for America. They regularly spend more than is taken in, vote for programs that are ineffective but continue to be funded because of fear of taking something away from someone, change accounting rules to hide the true deficit and slowly moved to a now polarized House and Senate that is totally ineffective.

Good leaders work together with other leaders and constituents to get the job done. The business world, athletics, non profits, the military and countless other walks of live are filled with examples of diverse people who accomplished great things for the common good. Not so with our current political leaders.

The lack of meaningful progress on many domestic fronts in the past fifteen years is the direct result of leadership failing to do its job.  Vested interests have replaced best interest of all Americans.

While not the only ineffective legislators, the following men and women have demonstrated their inability to effective lead and to do what is best for America. They all deserve a strong vote of no confidence.  They are: John Boehner, Barbara Boxer, Eric Cantor, James Clyburn, John Cornyn, Dick Durbin, Steny Hoyer, James Langford, Nancy Pelosi, Patrick Leahy, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Peter Roskam, Harry Reid, John Rockefeller, Paul Ryan, and Charles Schumer.

By signing this petition you are saying, they have failed, and they no longer have our confidence.
