ALFREDTON & LUCAS NEED A FENCED DOG PARK

Local residents have submitted a request to the Ballarat City Council for a fenced dog park to be installed in Alfredton for owners who do not wish to use off-leash areas.

A fenced dog park would enable owners of all ages to socialise their pets with other dogs and allow them to have a good run without the fear of their precious pet running onto a busy road.

A portion of the unused parkland near the Alfredton Recreation Reserve has been recommended. If Council does not want to use this land the submission asks that a portion of the off-leash area at 164a Cuthberts Road be fenced off.
