Facebook MUST change its policy classifying the word "Epilepsy" to be "Offensive"

Epilepsy Connections Australia and our CEO / Founder Paul Lang have discovered a bigoted policy (no doubt due to pressure from religious minority groups) that blocks "Boosts" on posts containing the word "Epilepsy" and deems it to be "offensive" - this is now also spreading to "Share" options.

We encourage everyone to sign this petition so that negative media pressure can be applied to force Facebook to alter this policy. ECA and our Founder / CEO has researched this topic on numerous levels and platforms and we have NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER that this is 100% true.

Facebook has refused for 2 months to deny this claim despite numerous requests from Epilepsy Connections Australia and our CEO personally. On top of this - when ECA spread a related story on this topic 2 months ago - within 11 minutes our CEO's Facebook account was shut down and admin access to our page deleted. No explanation at all - and this was hardly a coincedence.

We CANNOT as the Epilepsy community allow access to information (including support services) to be blocked by corporations based on minority group pressures. We have to work as one.
