If the United States of America continues to overstep it's boundaries and continues to try and control the internet there will be a war. Sooner or later, someone with the right knowledge with the resources to fight will do so, and they could be anywhere, even right under their nose. Our country has no sovereignty over other countries, but that hasn't stopped us from swinging our big stick when someone challenges us. Even now, we violate our own laws, and hide behind dark sunglasses and suits. If this petition falls through, it will have a domino effect that will take everything we have. America has gotten too stupid and strong for it's own good, and in my opinion, it's high time we remind the government that they work for the people, not the other way around.

If you're going to petition something, you should portray yourself and the collective that backs the petition as professionally as possible.
Anonymous is properly spelled in this sentence, and should be changed on the front page.

#25 liability

quoting from the petition text: "This is simply because The Pirate Bay can link to files that can violate copyright, just like Google and any other website in the world."

I may not agree as The Pirate Bay hosts torrent files. Google is only capable of linking to these files. Another point of view could have been chosen, like the website does not host the illegal documents themselves AND a torrent's content is always the user's responsibility.
My explanation is hardly detailed but I hope you all get the point.

However I signed the petition as this trial is really stupid and pointless.
