Children with a diagnoses of autism (Asd) in Ireland are not being provided with the services they need and their parents are not being provided with information about services that would help their child to develop to their full potential.

My son is 14years and has aspergers syndrome. He has never seen a NEPs pschologist in his 9 years of school. It took 2 for a speech and language therapy assessment and then four more years for another one. No therapy in between. It took 7 years to get a full OT assessment. I'm lucky he's mild and i read everything i could get to help him because i couldn't rely on the state!

Please read and sign this petition which aims to stop cuts and improve services for children with autism. It's hard enough having a child with special needs without all the help you need to cope, being cut or being inadequate.

so important the government keep supporting these children and thier parents, they are so deserving of all the help they can get,i run a carers group in u/k,and our autistic families get far more than yours,we can always do with more, but sadly you are letting down these wonderfull families, pplease think again, you are a great country,so kind ,show it now,
