Look at the picture. Really look at it. A mother protecting her baby. Do humans not have this same reaction to their offspring? Relatives, even strangers, in the primate kingdom have been known to protect others offspring. Why then do we treat them as if they have no feelings?

Testing on animals is wrong and unnecessary. It is evil to ABUSE and TORTURE God's innocent creatures. All animals have emotions and feelings just like you and I and deserve to be respected. They have a right to live out their lives in peace with their families and not be terrorised by 'HUMANS'.

Kim Socha spoke at the NZ Sceptics conference in Christchurch NZ last year. I followed the links on her spot on the conference web site and found your own web site. I am persuaded by her excellent address and your well worded petition, that we can do a lot better in our treatment of our fellow mammals. Please pass on my regards and best wishes to Kim. I don't have her email address. Michael Collins

I signed this petition because my circle of compassion extends to all races, colors, genders, sexual preferences, and most of all, species. I signed this petition because, unlike vivisectors, I am civilized.

I am strongly against vivisection, and believe it to be not only unspeakably immoral, but inefficient and out-dated. We have progressed in our scientific methods and should abandon this terrible practice.

Because everyone now knows, as in the public, what these people have been trying to hide from us over all these years of torturing helpless innocent animals for their benefit. We all know now that none of these test are necessary because non-animal testing alternatives are available.

The fact that UCLA is testing on animals is horrifying. This testing is cruel and unnecessary and I am ashamed of UCLA.

Because these babies do not deserve this treatment. They hurt, feel, eat, sleep, bleed, poop, pee, fart, talk, communicate and the list goes on as humans do. If we want to test... then get volunteers to test on. We are the ones that use the product.. most of the time... not these sweet innocent babies!
