Very unfair, signage does not look out of place on Leith Walk. Best of luck to Pomegranate owners and staff

The frontage is no more or less offensive than other local businesses. I can't help thinking that the objections are racially motivated, whilst I hope not.

I walk past this restaurant every day and have eaten there on many occasions . I love the bright colours inside and out, and can see no reason to complain.

I can't believe there have been complaints about the look of Pomegranate. It looks lovely and fresh, the food and staff are wonderful and it fits perfectly into the eclectic range of small businesses on Leith Walk. I love the multicultural feel of the area and cannot see how Pomegranate's signage can be offensive to anyone.

I love this restaurant and walk past it every day, it is most defiantly not an eyesore and is being unfairly discriminated.

Absolutely love this restaurant, not just for it's wonderful food, but it's incredibly welcoming and heartwarming staff and atmosphere.

this is a great place and food. The staff and owner are really nice and cleaned the hole place up. Shame that they are getting complaints when some of the other bussines around are causing more noise but don't seem to have any problem.

The signage looks quirky and is certainly not offensive in any way. I hate injustice and unfairness and this situation seems to be a bit of both. Good luck!

Lovely local independent restaurant .signage is subtle & discreet already - this is blatant discrimination & harassment by the complainer! Am appalled that his disgusting racist attitude has even been listened to, shame on him and the council!!

In my opinion, Pomegranate's signage is actually amongst the nicest on the street! Can't understand what the problem is or why the council is upholding the complaints.

Absolutely ridiculous situation! Only encourages me to visit more often and support the guys at Pomegranate - great food, great service and absolutely no basis for complaint for anyone. Some people really need to get a life. As many others have said, 20 years and no campaign to boot out the previous restaurant can't help but make you wonder what the issue is all of a sudden.

Pomegranate is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful food and lovely staff, and is a valuable addition to the neighbourhood. May it live long and prosper.

Absolutely appalling behaviour and supported by the council - this needs to be investigated fully!

It just seems ridiculous, especially when petition was previously granted for illuminated signage. If is true that one complaint has set this in motion, the council should be ashamed and called to count for not listening to the HUNDREDS of complaints about yet another Tesco or Sainsburys blighting the city.

This is the most petted bit of nonsense I've ever heard! Some people have got nothing better to do than try and ruin peoples hard work! Good luck to you all.

How utterly ridiculous in today's society for a woman to be so ignorant, narrow minded & discriminatory.

This is absolutely ridiculous! How can a menu and sign cause so much offense?! Why are the council even taking these complaints on board? This is a lovely restaurant with great staff, food and atmosphere causing no harm to anyone!

It's a wonderful restaurant - I guess those campaigning against their signage etc. will be pretty put out if they end up putting the restaurant out of business and get a noisy pub with loads of folk out on the street smoking and making a general racket - have they thought of this I wonder. Leave Pomegranate alone and let them continue to provide a great service to their community and customers in exactly the same way as Ferris did for 20 years or however long they were there.
