cchampionship rugby league need a cup that can realisticly be competed for by part time sides, without the NRC winning the grand final is the only prize all season.

The NRC is a vital source of income to all clubs and taking it away will have a detrimental effect on each and every one of those clubs.

No promotion, no relegation, no cup = no game.

The clubs need the revenue and the fans need the interest in having a cup competition and the NRC gives them this, it will be devastating to not have this next year.

NW Cru V London Skolars was a great Bowl final and NW Cru are proud holders of the Bowl; it meant so much to us as a club to win our first silverware. This opportunity shouldn't be taken away for the Championship clubs

As a Leigh fan, denied the opportunity for promotion by the traditional channels, the NR Cup has been the highlight, and almost the ONLY real competition of meaning, for us for several years. It's also been great to help the development of clubs like Skolars and Crusaders, and has given local meaning to clubs like Sheffield, Fev, Halifax etc, and provided a building block for Hull KR in moving towards full-time professionalism in the top flight.

As the first winners of the bowl cup seems a shame that lower champ clubs will miss their day in the sun

Why should everything go to the fatcats? We need this competition for the lower leagues teams for revenue and to keep rugby league alive.

Please keep this competition going as it gives the Championship sides a chance to pick up a Trophy and also gives their fans something to look forward to. Why would you think of scrapping it? Think about the extra revenue it creates for the clubs.

Absolute disgrace what the idiots at the RFL are doing to rugby league in general. They have no regard to the paying fans whatsoever.

We need this competition. Its incentive for the lower level cups, more money into the game. Take this away and you cripple the North of England.

We need this competition and it also needs to be moved back to Blackpool as it enhances the day out. Had 2 great years taking my kids there with Fax and would love to do it all over again.

Try asking all the fans of lower league teams before scrapping such a competition. No consideration at all given to us fans , the ones who continue to pay week in and week out to keep lower league clubs going.
Spot on !!!

THE NORTHERN RAIL CUP FOR THE NATIONAL LEAGUES IS LIKE WEMLBLEY IS TO THE SUPERLEAGUE CLUBS

HOW WOULD THE SUPERLEAGUE CLUBS LIKE TO CANCEL THE RUGBY lEAGUE CHALLENGE CUP AND FINAL AT WEMBLEY?

Why do the RFL want to take our enjoyment of the game away from us? Is it their inability to run it all properly, sponsors etc, are they so out of touch? We dont have P & R, it looks like we wont have a cup now. So why do we bother to go to watch a team play? What are they playing for? Where is the fun in it all? Numbers are dropping off anyway, no-one will bother soon. Rugby League is not just Super League. Get a grip and get it soon or the whole game will be gone!
