It is time the irresponsible dog owners took responsibility for their action of not picking up their dogs mess, not only is it unsightly but is a health hazard.I for one an sick of standing in it especially when it's dark and you can not see it!

Its time that irresponsible dog owners are fined the full fine amount. Maybe then they would clean their dogs mess up.

It seems to me that some irresponsible dog owners feel that because its raining or dark that the dog poo will miraculously disappear...Well it doesn't. The dog warden should have a more visible presence in the evening and also around the outer streets, rather than just sitting in the van in the market place.

This matter has got very bad especially down Foundry Street, and Tennyson Gardens. I have a toddler and it is a nightmare constantly having to tell her to mind the poo!!! These negligent dog owners would soon start complaining if I left dirty nappy here there and everywhere!!! Picking up poo is part of a dog owners duty of care and their responsibility for having an animal!!!!!!

New piles of dog dirt appear in the area close to the primary school almost every day (presumably the same dog owners taking their dogs on the same route every evening). If the dog wardens patrolled the worst affected areas on any given evening, they'd have a very good chance of catching the offenders.

Prospect Street is also littered with it most days. I see theCouncil (?) has sprayed a white "no dog fouling" sign on a pavement in town - they should do this in a lot more locations

It's a pity the council don't concentrate as much effort on Dog Fowling as they do Parking issues... This is a subject that really angers me as a parent but also a dog owner. Tennyson Gardens seems to be covered in Dog Poo.

the amount of dog fouling down Dove Cote Alley is atrocious, My door to my flat is down this Alley and the number of times I have had to clean mess up out side my door. I always pick up my dogs mess so why can't others, I have even picked up other peoples dog mess which is something I shouldn't have to do. The nick name for this Alley is Dog Shit Alley, but it doesn't mean let your dogs mess here.

As a responsible dog owner I think it's disgusting - it's not hard to clean-up after your dog. The situation seems to have gotten far worse in the past month alone in West Street, Prospect street and through the town. A few are spoilong things for the many.

the dog warden you mention is the ONLY dog warden that covers the ENTIRE East Linsey area !!!!! thats rather a massive task for ONE Warden.

would be nice to think that Horncastle has this ONE warden all to themselves.....

I work with children In Horncastle and am fed up with telling them to watch where they're walking! If people are going to have a dog they should clean up after it. Respect your community and the other people in it.
