I'm all for this change, but for the sake of some credibility can the petition be amended to spell "calendar" correctly as opposed to the current "calender?"

YES!  It was pointed out to me on my FB page...kind of embarrassing ... it is C A L E N D A R ...  hopefully with energized teachers, the kids will learn to spell better than their parents..!
