Honor Donnie Navidad at the next Oakland Raider Home Game

Donnnie Navidad a Retired US Marine and dedicated Oakland Raider fan shows his "Commitment To Excellence" and his heroism when, on Sunday November 24th, after The Raiders faced the Titans, a woman jumped off the 3rd Deck of the O.Co Coliseum. Donnie Reacted by risking his own saftey and tried to catch the woman. Although she did sustain a serious head injury and is in critical condition, Donnie has given the woman a fighting chance to survive what would have been a fatal fall.

A hero is defined as "An individual who puts his/her own health and safety at Risk for the well being of others" Donnie embodies everything that a hero is and should be and he deserves to be recognized for his heroic act. I am starting this petition to appeal to the Oakland Raiders Organization to honor Mr. Navidad By giving him a Custom Made Offical Oakland Raiders Jersey With a Team Captian Logo on it and Allow Mr. Navidad to be Present and call heads or tails during the coin toss. Also as a dedicated Raider fan there would be no greater honor than to be able to sit on the Sideline with the team. These are just Ideas of ways to Honor this hero. Other Ideas have been suggested like, Free lifetime Season Tickets to any Raider Home Game, Free Air fare, tickets and hotel stay for Super Bowl XLVIII, or other things of this nature.

Let's recognize this man for the Hero he is and honor his selfless act.  I know Mr. Navidad is quoted as saying that he doesn't consider himself a hero but Donnie you have a lot of people that disagree with that statement. I applaude your courage and willlingness to do the right thing and in a society that has been shrowded in darkness for so long, your bright light gives hope to those who thought that kind of selflessness no longer existed.

Thank You,

Ryan Shay
