Justice for Hard Working Alumni: They get Free Education Why Can't We?

Why do most of us pursue a secondary education? Easy, because we are promised great jobs and a bright future. How many of us actually got what we were promised? With the job market offering a majority of part-time and casual positions it's hard to believe in the future we were promised when we were young and naive.

With Kathleen Wynne's new "free education" platform one third of Ontario secondary students, who are deemed low to middle income, can now pursue a higher education at a lower cost.

Mitzie Hunter, Minister of Education, states "We want every student to have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and reach their potential".

What about those of us who would have qualified years ago who are still struggling with loan debt, a poor job market and nowhere to turn for answers? The NDPs are listening.

The NDP party of Ontario has made it a small part of their platform to help Alumni with repayment assistance. By signing this petition let's show the NDP and all of Ontario that low and middle income Alumni have the same right to free education as those students who are just starting out today.
