KEEP DC SHAW SKATE PARK OPEN!

Shaw Skate Park is a thriving sanctuary where people can convene and perform and practice their craft in a safe and controlled enviroment. This park is a place that keeps kids out of trouble and allows them the freedom or art and expression, something I believe is sorely needed in this day and age of art and expression. These young people exude an energy of comraderie and familial acceptance and a skill with skateboarding and BMX biking and even the adjacent basketball court. To stifle these young people and deny them this outlet is potentially dangerous as they may resort to misdirecting that energy into more negative outlets... I believe in the tremendous positive impact of SHAW SKATE PARK and what it does for the youth and the community. Please HELP SAVE SHAW SKATE PARK..Help save these young people
