Wrongful Termination of Amanda Allen

The following is not anything against the company and no one is required to sign if they do not believe in it.

If you would like more details as to what led up to a review on Amanda Gomez Allen file we can provide that with her permission. However we do have proof of the time line that went down and brought on the alleged termination of a single income only employee that was always early and always there to help.

About 2 weeks ago Amanda learned from a supervisor of 2 school employees who were being paid more than the other school agents and that upset her because they do the same job as every other school employee. She made a comment to that supervisor that yes it was wrong and that the company should realizes they shouldnt do things like that. If you do a job and others that do the same job get paid more or are not asked to do as much get paid the same then this is unfair.  She stated that from now on I do my job and my job only the same as all other Tier II, after all she didn't get paid more for all the extra jobs they laid on her.

Someone either overheard the conversation or the supervisor complaining about this told management what she had said, so management came at here through email of an accusation of her being on strike. She then told exactly what was said and told management it wasn't fair that she was the only one T2 doing many other jobs that others didn't have to and it wasn't fair she had to take Spanish calls and do Spanish email if she wasn't comfortable and fluent in them. Also she advised that if it true what the supervisor stated to her about other agents then this is wrong as well. Also she had overheard  some other CSRs on the floor saying they heard some of the CSRS were paid more yet they were not. However she did not advise of this with the CSR because she did not know it to be true.

Later she thought about it and the company held a meeting with some of the csr and t2s after this meeting where upper management admitted yes some got paid more it got out then everyone was asking questions about the pay difference. Still she did not discuss that but stated if they were told that then yes its true.

Amanda was stressed over this and insurance prices for the agents and had enough so she filed part 1 of her grevience against the company days later no response and then she filed part 2 that went with part one of her grievance.

In the meeting with agents beforw they had confirmed that yes some employees who wanted to go to the other contract were not let go so they paid them the extra while that contract was active. They also stated that some T2s will have more to do because of their knowledge of the contract data and this is ok, they directed her to ask for a list of T2 job qualifications and duties. Even though the one she provided them with when she was hired said answer flags, help with escalations and calls and floor support only. She never received that listing sheet from them back. Supposedly they lost it.

Anyways after this she asked for the list and they told here they would get it to her. People at work started asking her more and more questions about what was going on and that they heard people talking about her grevience to HR so yes she admitted filing.

After filing part 2 of the grievance she still ask questions about the affordable care act, why was insurance higher for SCA employees yet lower for non SCA employees on the same plan, and why does anthem state they can not tell us what our prieumum is? No reply.

Later they release the T2 qualifications and duties advising that now all T2s will have to have access to all the systems and also need knowledge of all the systems and that they can amend this at any point in time and add specific duties onto certain T2s.

Amanda saw this as retaliation and in the company handbook it states if you feel you are retaliated against you need to file an incident report however they would not allow her to do so. So she advise that she felt it was retaliation and wanted to file the report then she was directed to the company lawyer.

She wrote the lawyer and he replied I am viewing you file to determine future employment with the company. My advice to you is to do your job.

She replied back I do do my job and can she have a copy of the file in case there was things to contest. He never replied to her.

March 27th near the end of her shift the company fired her for disruptive behavior. Even though she was not disruptive yes she filed two grievances but this was not acting out of being angry in the call center this was addressing concerns and what she felt was needed to be said after the years of time and commitment she had put into the company. At some point everyone gets stressed out if they are made do numerous things all day long while others in the same position are not.

She had been on this contract since 2012 and until the day of filing the grievances was never reviewed for termination yet now is fired for disruptive behavior. Also please keep in mind the company never answered her grievance about insurance instead they sent her to a lawyer who also never answered her.

If you think she was wrongfully terminated please sign the petition and also provide us with a number if you worked with her. She was a great employee bragged on her whole career by management until she got tired of doing more than others and being discriminated against and forced to take Spanish calls when she was not fluent and also made do numerous other jobs like School Testing and special cases that involved funding, G5, SAIG mailbox, and SULA cases

This is unjust and unfair to an employee whow deducated yeas to the company.

Please help her as her family now has no income.
