I signed this petition because I am one of those women out there that suffer with PSTL and I too was not informed about the risks. My life has changed drastically. My marriage is not the same. I wish I never made the decision on tying my tubes. If I had known of the risks, I would have never done it. It's been 4 long years of depression and anxiety. Before the operation, I never suffered from any emotional issues.

I had a tubal ligation in March of 2014. Not only did they mess up and only tied one tube, I had to stop breastfeeding early to get the other tied ( which I wish I would have never done) I weighed 117 when I had my third baby at 28, delivered at 152. No matter what I do I can't get lower than 148 IBS¡! ¡ DON'T EVER GET A TUBAL LIGATION EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!

I suffered from ptls for over 5 years and believe that I could of made a better informed decision if I knew the possible side effects of having a tubal ligation especially with a foreign object in my body.

Because since being sterilised in March 15. I have had nothing but severe pain ( among other symptoms ) so much so that my Dr advised me to take morphine for the first 3 days of my period! So much so that the hospital thought I may have kidney stones, turns out I was about to come on my period?! Something needs to be done to stop this happening to other ladies out there. For the record, I'm 25.

I urge every women out there not to have this horrible sin done to your body, and doctors will also have to pay for torturing women like this especially when they are not told about the symptoms this is so real, have been a nightmare in my entire life.......

Women need to be informed of all possible complications including PTLS.

To support my 'sisters' who suffer in silence. I believe I'm their cause & I believe in them

I have been suffering for the past three years and its destroying my life. I was told it was just depression. My life slowly began to unravel and my whole family began to suffer. I could not help to look for something I wasn't depressed, I knew it was something else. Then I found information on PTLS and felt a sigh of relief... Thank you.

I had a tubal done Dec. 2015 and every since then it's been pain every day. I wish I would have made a different choice in birth control. Because I wasn't aware of all the possible symptoms that could occur after and now I'm paying for it.

I suffer from these symptoms myself after my tubal ligation 17 years ago at the time I was not informed of any side effects.

Because I had tubal ligation done on 8/7/14 at 36 years old and I'm suffering. I was told it was ppd. Well, that was 2 years ago. I have 28 of the symptoms listed and these didn't start until after the tl. I never was on bc either before the TL, because the way the hormones affected my body. Well, now I'm completing my 7th month of being on the pill since the TL. I suffer from anxiety and depression now. The good dr, ruined my life.

I have PTLS and no one told me anything about it when I had mine done 10 yrs ago....not only have I been suffering and in pain, BUT the reversal is NOT covered under insurance (which it SHOULD be) and it is extremely expensive!!! THis should be discussed with every woman who is thinking about getting her tubes tied!!!
