With all of these mandates, it affects our funding and budget. We need better formulas and funding to protect the great programs that build strong kids.

 Yes, you are completely right. Getting more money isn't the total solution. We need to address the real issues of unfunded mandates as well as how to continue to provide a well-rounded education for today's children.
