I have a Zafira B and four young children. There are nearly 200 recorded incidents of Zafiras catching fire in the same manner. Vauxhall has known of the fault for months, possibly years, and is not being pro-active in fixing it, only re-active to the publicity generated by victims of these fires.

I own a zafira b, and have had nothing but trouble trying to get it looked at. It was checked, and the full heating system is faulty, so I cannot use it until this is fixed.

Not even had an opportunity to speak to my local (Leicester) vauxhall dealers yet, tried calling last week and got put through to somewhere in Middlesbourgh, then had a call from Middlesbourgh number day after to say I'm on a waiting list and I'll get a call from Leicester within next 2 weeks to book car in! Not even been checked! I've had to take child locks off and prepare children just incase! After being hospitalised twice with pneumonia I really hope they are not expecting me to drive a freezing cold car around for weeks with no heater, Vauxhall have know about this problem for months/years and done nothing! I would love to know how much their share prices have dropped over this! I bet they will be bothered when people are not buying Vauxhalls and there are redundancies!

I have a 60 plate 1.7 Ecoflex, and due to wife's condition have to carry Mobility Scooter and ambulatory oxygen (danger), and in the event of the spontaneous ignition she would struggle to move quickly. Shame on Vauxhall for NOT taking this seriously. Local dealership checking at the moment, but replacement parts not expected for up to 2 weeks.

Vauxhall need to review all models and model years which have caught fire in the past- they have a bad dismissive attitude !!!

Want to make sure that VX get to the root cause and not just temporary fix of changing the resistor without knowing the true cause of the fires. I have a Zafira B

Because I have a Zafira which has a burnt out glove box light and the fan squeaks on number 3. When it rains I can hear water sloshing around the top of the engine. I am disgusted that Vauxhall are not doing anything. When you have 3 children in the car with locks on the doors it scares the life out of me that something will happen and I won't be able to get them out.
