It was arranged for me to meet the man when I was 10 and about to undergo major reconstructive surgery on a dodgy shoulder I was born with. He gave me a huge signed A2 poster of him hoisting up the cup; A true gentleman, a credit to our club and an honour to meet.

Frank's autobiography is a good read: about an era when there was no damaging 'disconnect' between club and / or players and fans. In my view, the best leader the Arsenal has ever had - a genuine legend.

Might remind people that football existed prior to the Premier league.

Frank is a true Arsenal man and legend. He deserves to be respected in the same way as Chapman, Wenger and the rest.

Frank would have been my first choice for a statue ,captain of the most underrated team ever, it still makes me angry that they never got the plaudits for an incredible feat, every team in the old div 1 was very hard, it will always be my favorite season 1970/71 and the Anderlecht game the season before at our beloved Highbury my /the ultimate night

Frank McLintock is an Arsenal legend and wonderful servant of the club.

A must to share our past with the present.
First Arsenal Captain to lift our first European trophy and the Double winning silverware.
