The low salaries Social Workers receive is a disgrace! I feel ashamed of the entry level salaries especially...the reason why so many potential SW's are demotivated to qualify themselves as SW's, a profession so much needed to advocate for social justice and human rights for needy and.vulnerable people in SA. I am a proud SW for the past 35 years and I am not recognized all my working years of experience by the current dept I am working at. But even this does not discourage my passion or commitment for my profession. I strongly support this petition!
