Debate to vote for no confidence in the current administration

As everybody knows you need at least 100000 signatures to an online petition in order for it to be debated within Parliament.

Currently, the electorate has to wait until 2015 to get the opportunity to vote for or against the incumbent members of parliament and thus the political party which ultimately runs the country. Before the coalition came into power, a general election was called roughly every 4/5 years. After 2010 legislation was brought in making a standardised length of 5 years for each parliament.

With this petition, the parliament has a duty to debate the measure and vote on it. If we receive the required signatures, maybe then there can be a frank debate on the competence of the current administration. If there is a vote of no confidence then the current administration will be forced to amend current legislation and call for an immediate general election.

Please sign if you agree with putting the power to choose the election date back into the electorates hands.
