Flashing 40km/h Sign for Merewether Heights

It's an absolute DISGRACE that a Main Rd which is the coastal link to the Newcastle CBD from the Pacific Highway does not have ANY Flashing 40 km warning signs for the only school on it's route. There have already been two school children killed on this road and NOTHING has been done to prevent further deaths!! Given that the police regularly sit up there to catch speeders would that not be sufficient enough evidence to warrant these signs....or is it just a council cash cow!! Shame on the Roads and Authority and The Council for failing this school!!
