11,978 at The Rec last night tells its own story.

I accept that ERC want to release some tickets to neutrals in advance but HOW they can skew it so badly that 10,500 go to people with no interest in either club is beyond me. Surely they should have kept 10,000 tickets for the finalists' supporters and sold the other 2,500 in advance. If less-supported clubs had made it through to the final and returned their allocation, ERC/Ticketmaster would still have had time to sell the remainder.

And I don't think the final being in Cardiff makes much difference to Bath fans - many of us would have travelled anywhere in the UK to see this shot at silverware. Ok, a match in France/Italy would have been harder, given Friday is a working day, but you'd still have had a large travelling contingent from the Southwest and, I'm sure, from Saints too.

Fingers crossed we're listened to by the powers that be. If not, it's a crying shame but Allez Bath - we'll all be there in spirit, and shouting for you in front of a TV screen / Radio Bris.
