When I was the Coordinator of the Stanhope Gardens Kellyville Ridge Eyewatch Neighbourhood Watch Group I also met with Tony the manager of Coles and aslo with the Regional Manager. I too discussed with them the propblem of abandoned trolleys and asked if they would introduce the trolley lock system but I was told they didn't think the system worked.
Having a property in Port Macquarie I have seen the difference there with the number of trolleys littering streets drastically reduced once the trolley lock system was introduced.
