I'm sometimes billed in excess of R14000, supposedly for 4 months & there are 2 adults in the house. Prepaid customers pay about R4500 p.m. for 5 adults & 4 kids.

We submit our readings every month as required and doing the municipality workers job but still get incorrect billing due to the laziness of the accounts department by billing us interim readings. This causes too much of high billing and we are just supposed to pay the bill which not all of us can afford to pay and then we are not allowed to make arrangements to pay as we are told that we do not qualify.
