Stop Alexander Hamilton from preventing students from graduating

I'm signing because very close friends of mine attend Hamilton and it is not fair that they have don't all of this work and that you want to bring this upon them now also if this is the reason why present it 3/4 weeks before graduation this isn't fair to students who have worked. Hard and have legitimate reasons in the deals world you get sick days and vacation days so why can't you get sick days off is not understandable

The school believes my excused absence for my two broken wrists that requiered extensive Doctor appointments and physical therapy and im being threatened to not graduate or attend prom which, fyi we all paid for it. guess Hamilton is not handicap friendly.

#412

Its unfair

(Los angeles, 2017-05-05)

#422

This is completely unfair!

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#423

My niece attends Hamilton and should be allowed to both attend prom and graduate!

(Reno , 2017-05-05)

#424

I'm a high school senior and I would hate for this to apply at my school... so I understand where Hamilton students are coming from

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#429

i'm signing this petition because i feel that this is extremely frustrating that it is being disregarded that students have medical and family issues that they need to take care of during school hours. ditching is one thing , but if you have things that need to be taken care of manual labor, or detention, or whatever should not be the only way that you can walk the stage and receive your diploma or attend your highschool prom.

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#432

I want to see my babies flourish .

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#433

She dumb a hell

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#438

The fact that I'm not able to walk the stage because I have too many CLEARED absences is ridiculous!

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#441

I want justice for the kids !

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#443

My cousin and Friends go here I want them to graduate!!

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#444

I need to see my fat sonz graduate B

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#450

It ain't right

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#456

I'm signing because this will hurt me next year, since I play sports, do youth and government, have doctors and DMV appointments, have family events, and get sick.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#457

This is unfair to students

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#465

This is so unfair treat us right !

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#466

I'm signing because that is very wrong

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#467

That's retarded

(Los angeles, 2017-05-05)

#472

This rule is ridiculous. If a child makes the grades to go to prom and graduate, that should be all that matters.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#473

hami is boof and this rule is dumb

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#474

The administration should only make this valid for those kids that ditch and don't have an excused absence. This is crazy.

(Lawndale, 2017-05-05)

#482

This isn't right at all and I'm sur is against Some form of ed code

(Long Beach , 2017-05-05)

#489

I've missed school multiple times due to health problems, sickness, and dance/choir events. Excused absences should most definitely be cleared that's for sure. This whole situation is infuriating to all of us.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#491

My daughter completed her classes with passing grades and has earned the ability to walk across the stage as her family watches.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#495

The principle done lost her rabbit ass mind. Hamilton folded. I knew it was coming when she didn't let my boyfriend do a promposal on the stage #Hatin'Ass

(Inglewood , 2017-05-05)

#497

So I guess this mean having a 3.8 GPA and being in Honor Roll for 4 years isn't good enough to graduate at Hamilton.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#499

Being absent 7 or more times is normal and should be completely understandable

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#502

I am signing because I want to help

(los angeles, 2017-05-05)

#505

Absences are out of control; those who go on field trips, sports, or other various reasons all count against you.

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#506

I'm an alumni who hates the policy and knows it's against the better interest of the current and future students

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#507

That is not right. 7 absences is very little for an entire year and cleared absences should not count.

(Los angeles, 2017-05-05)

#509

I have deep belief in AHHS students graduating and I think its unfair that they lose this oppurtunity to a school administration.

(Redondo beach, 2017-05-05)

#520

I am a parent of a proud Hamilton High Yankee Senior student who has her heart set on full participation in her senior prom as well as full participation in her High School graduation ceremony.
Denying kids like my daughter their prom and grad ceremony is unfair, irrational, reactionary, not at all well thought out and embarrassing.
Money has already been spent toward these activities.
This principle appears to have issues with her ego that are clouding what should be adult judgement.

(Culver City, 2017-05-05)

#522

IT AINT RIGHT YO!!

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#525

This is outrageous and ridiculous. Shame on the principal. Someone fire her ASAP.

(Duluth, 2017-05-05)

#529

This is unfair to the students who how killed all four years there

(Los Angles , 2017-05-05)

#532

Unfair, Irrational, Unreasonable.
Culmination of these kids' high school tenure to end in such a strange, silly, unfortunate, way.
Principle abusing her authority.

(Culver City , 2017-05-05)

#534

This is stupid kids have a life outside of school and there hard work shouldn't suffer because of absences if there grades r good get off the ass life is hard enough

(los angeles, 2017-05-05)

#537

WHERE'S MR. GARCIA

(South Gate, 2017-05-05)

#540

Because my mf hgs go here and y'all wanna stop they from graduating #yalldontwannaseethemleave

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#547

This kind of treatment is unfair to the students. A cleared absense should not count against them.

(Bell, 2017-05-05)

#553

This should not just come up 1 month before graduation. It is not fair. It should be brought to there attention the beginning of senior year or 6 months before graduating

(Inglewood , 2017-05-05)

#557

It's not fair

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#559

I feel this is very inconsiderate

(Long Beach , 2017-05-05)

#561

I will be a senior next year and would want the same for me. Everyone should be able to walk the stage.

(Inglewood, 2017-05-05)

#566

LOURDES LOPEZ

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#568

This is a ridiculous rule. There are so many unavoidable circumstances that could stop a student from being able to attend school and if a student happens to have a bad immune system and get sick a lot and have to go to the doctor more than most people that shouldn't prevent them from being able to walk the stage.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#571

because my peoples needa graduate dead homies

(los angeles , 2017-05-05)

#572

The principal is so inconsiderate, and she does not care how the students feel.

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#573

This is so wrong all those students put in hard work for 4 years just to be told they are not allowed to granduate because of their life outside of school .

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#574

not to be messy but I never seen the principal in school grounds she probably calls in to work but that's none of my business

(El Paso , 2017-05-05)

#575

I have friends that goes to this school. I want to see them graduate.

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#576

This is not acceptable or fair to all the seniors this year and all the seniors to follow.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#580

If she wanted people to walk the stage and maintain their privilege to do so, she shouldn't have waited to do it at the end of their school year. Now they are stuck having to worry about this rather than more important things.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#581

Seniors should be able to experience a room and graduate .

(Lol Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#582

I believe the principles rules are very unreasonable.

(Beltvillle, 2017-05-05)

#586

I am signing this because I believe the ability to graduate should only be based on grades.

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)

#587

I get sick sometimes, maybe some car trouble in the mornings, unexpected family emergencies or a school related field trip that's requires me to miss classes. I don't understand how Hamilton High school is telling me I can't have more than 7 excused/unexcused absences if I want to graduate. I'm baffled ...

(LA, 2017-05-05)

#589

This principle is unfair

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#593

I'm signing this petition because this is not right. Students should have been notified before their second quarter of their senior year that these rules were going to be set into place. I honestly believe this entire decision is very horrendous and unacceptable, but these seniors were not given the chance to even ATTEMPT to "clear" these absences. This is completely wrong and something needs to be done about this immediately.

(Compton , 2017-05-05)

#595

There is no possible way that what this school is doing is fair ! I admit that I have missed school a lot but it's for many different reasons like car troubles, family emergencies, I get sick a lot & many more ! Those excuses are honest but they don't cover my absence it just doesn't make sense, and my grades aren't even bad to say that missing school a lot messes with our grades! Everyone deserves the chance to walk the stage because it's just fair after giving all our time for a honest education , we deserve to graduate.

(Los Angeles, 2017-05-05)

#598

This is not fair

(Los Angeles , 2017-05-05)
