Iam sighning because i feel very second a child is missing, its important to get the word out, even if the child is a runnawaythe guidelines for an amder alert need to be changed it could save a childs life.

I would like an alert that out community and surrounding areas can receive when an abduction happens. Because Katylynns age, no confirbed abduction, the community was unaware aside from the posting distributed by her mother on fb. I am positive that if an alert was sent via mmobile, this may have changed the outcome in this case.

I have young children and I would be heart broken if something like this happened to one of my children.

(Euless, 2017-07-02)

#214

I have kids I care about deeply, if something were to happen to them I would want an amber alert immediately sent out.

(Little Elm, 2017-07-03)

#216

Kaytlynn was a student of mine and a bestfriends to my 14 year old daughter. We all ask why the alert was not issued if she vanished. We are looking for answers and changing the alert may save someone elses life.

Kaytlynn Cargill

(Bedford, 2017-07-03)

#220

Even if it doesn't change Amber Alert laws there should be a "Runaway Alert"

(Richland Hills, 2017-07-03)

#221

I believe the guidelines of the Amber Law should be changed to help better serve the police, communities, parents of missing child/children to get the word out quicker to the public.

(Bedford, 2017-07-03)

#222

Because a physical description of the person of a child should be sufficient data to issue an alert that is seen by anyone with a cell phone. The quicker this type of information gets out there the better the chances are that something can be done to prevent a tragedy such as what happened to Kaytlynn Cargill.

(Angier, 2017-07-03)

#224

I'm signing because I understand that change that helps keep our children even safer can never be wrong.

(Dallas, 2017-07-03)

#227

I feel like we need amber alert guidelines that can be considered with common sense to save as many children as we can.

(Haltom City, 2017-07-03)

#228

To make people aware that someone is missing, somewhat like Silver Alert when an elderly person wanders off.

(Tyler, 2017-07-03)

#232

Kaytlynn Cargill was a friend of mine and she WAS in danger.

(Aspermont, TX, 2017-07-04)

#245

Protect our children!

(Highland Village, tx, 2017-07-04)

#247

I would like to see the Amber Alert guidelines expanded, so that even suspected runaways are covered. In modern times, given the epidemic of human trafficking, risks posed by social media (RIP Nichole Cable) and the increased mobility of perpetrators- I feel that the nature of risk to our children's has changed and expanded so much that it's time to revisit and relax Amber Alert guidelines.

(Euless, 2017-07-04)

#252

Waiting for a "confirmed abduction" to qualify as an Amber Alert is ridiculous. There are thousands of children who have gone missing over the years and we still don't know what happened. Waiting for proof that it was an abduction is costing valuable time that could save their lives. We should also include runaways. If they are a minor it doesn't matter if the child was taken against their will or left willing. They need to be found as quickly as possible.

(The Colony, 2017-07-04)

#253

Our community should be aware of all children who are missing regardless of the cause or circumstance in older for them to have the best chance of survival.

(Bedford, 2017-07-04)

#255

The guidelines are ridiculous. Even if a minor is a run away, a lot of dangerous things can happen.

(Euless, 2017-07-04)

#258

Any missing child should qualify for an amber alert despite possibility of runanway.

This sweet precious angel was a family friend, tragic happens but when it happens to close to your heart , to ones you love, it's unfathomable. These guidelines need to change before 1 more child gets taken away from their families. Rest in peace Kaytlynn

(Bedford, TX, 2017-07-05)
