Traffic is hectic as it is currently and a further reduction will not improve the accessibility for the majority of people that lives in east of Pretoria that doesn't make use of public transport. Add lanes and flyovers , don't reduce the current.

To help stop Tswane Metro from reaching their ultimate goal - to discomfort the white people living in Pretoria. The majority of people
living in the Eastern suburbs are white and will obviously be discomforted the most. They are not concerned with the smaller number of black people who will also be discomforted.

I will have problems travelling from my home to my office in the mid city if this road area is halved. I require my vehicle every day to travel for my work, from my work to different locations.

Traffic is already bad in Atterbury but this will just lead to chaos.

As I reside in the East of Pretoria and use both roads on a regular basis I have experienced massive gridlock on Lynnwood road when one lane gets closed for repairs and maintenance. let alone if this is on a permanent basis

Apparently there are going to be a reduction in lanes in Atterbury and Lynnwood affecting the traffic entering Faerie Glen Nature Reserve..this is unacceptable...lanes need to be widened due to increased traffic and more cars on the road yearly not decreased. Doesn't make logical sense at all.

Because this will aggravate traffic bottlenecks on roads which already have been the cause of restricting free flow for many years, with resultant accidents and serious delays

Only 1 lane will not handle the current flow of traffic, it is impossible

It would be ludicrous to reduce the lanes on these extremely busy roads.

Our traffic in the mornings and the afternoons are shocking so if they take a lane away what time will people get to there offices. People leave at 5am to avoid traffic and get home by 5.30 in the evenings so it will be a nightmare if they do that. think of the little ones that have to be at school and creche what a long day

Because the BRT is ill conceived, will result in negativity as to it's purpose and financial viability and has taken scant consideration of the views of the population it is purported to serve

Traffic impact in our area will be a disaster

the closure of this lane will have a devastating effect on the traffic congestion in Atterbury road which is already very problematic during peak travel times.

Getting to work along an already busy Atterbury road will be impossible which will cause traffic to use many side streets endangering the lives of children at the many schools in the area

as a university student my varsity studies will be seriously compromised as I will spent hours in traffic when I should be working.

Do I even have to answer the question " why do I even have to sign the petition'...who does the planning and thinking..? The worst traffic jam's will occur in PTA's history should they continue...rather go for 2 extra lanes than taking away the lanes...

Because it will further disrupt traffic for the majority of productive working individual traveling by car. Only a very small percentage of people can make use of bus transport and this will be at the cost of the majority impacting traveling time even more

The current traffic condition in peak times on Lynnwood Road is unbearable. Reducing the vehicle lanes would cause absolute havoc and increase an already unbearable problem.

As there are a substantial amount of new developments in the East of Pretoria, road infrastructure is not designed to accommodate the flow of traffic.

I believe we need to alleviate congestion not create it, the existing lawlessness of taxi drivers will only get worse, not better

We really do not need this monstrosity in our midst - it will only become another feature for the taxi drivers to abuse - like in the center of Jhb and town.

Those busses mostly run empty or half empty. It is discriminating against paying road users. Its not the right time to do this. Metro should build more roads and keep them in good condition. Do not over develop the area. Too many complexes in one area adds strain on roads, water, electricity Where is the planning on this?
