Please elaborate on the notion that Walmart will "decrease property values, increased crime and lowered standard of living". Are these merely opinions? Or are there statistics to back up such strong accusations?

The proposed concept is for a Neighborhood Market grocery store, not a "big box retail location." Additionally, there has been no submission for a "variance" presented by the developer; rather, the request before the Planning Board is simply to rezone a portion of the assembled site to make it consistent with commercial zoning of the adjacent land parcels.

The author of this petition appears to be employing emotional misrepresentations to alarm and capture the attention of residents who will benefit from the reduced product pricing, economic stimulation and creation of many job offerings for the community.

I am a home owner residing in the City of North Miami and hope our new Mayor will agree with residents that building a Walmart in this lot is a VERY BAD idea. Lets try to beautify North Miami!

It is a constant fight to try and keep our city beautiful. First the huge terrifying electrical poles along 135th street, now a Walmart of a heavy residential areal. When will this stop - where are our leaders.
