Surely Mr Howard (if he wants to) should now be allowed to return as Head Master and continue with his excellent work at Velmead Junior.

It will be good for further justice to be done by Mr Howard being reinstated as Head Master of Velmead - Back where he belongs!

Mr Howard is an inspriational head who all the kids and MOST of the parents hold in high esteem. Those who has judged him - he is innocent, how would you feel if that was your husband who had been accused....??

Mr Howard has been proven not guilty by the Crown Court. He deserves to be allowed to return to his former position without prejudice. We want him back at Velmead ! He is an inspirational leader and has done nothing wrong.

Mr Howards trail was public, so should his support be. Every day we wave off our children expecting the staff to protect and champion for them, and to do what is best for them. Now is the time as a community to offer the same protection and support back. It is of course right and in every ones interest for a review, and then I hope the outcome is a positive one. We are all missing Mr Howard.

Without a shadow of doubt Mr Howard should be back in his rightful place.

Mr Howard is an innocent man and should, without question, be allowed to return to his job as Head Teacher. How can we possibly teach our children that justice is fair, if he is not given the opportunity to carry on with his life and resume his career?

Both my children attended Velmead School while Mr Howard was head and found him the most excellent head teacher. They liked the fact that he lead the school with a firm hand but also found the time to play cricket with them at lunchtime and also joined them for lunch on occasions. In this way they respected him but at the same time felt at ease. It would be a travesty if such a dedicated and well respected head could not return to the school.

Mr Howard has gone through a due process and has been found to be innocent. As a victim of a wrongful accusation, he should be given the full support of the school, the parents and the County.

Definitely one of the best teachers I've had. Made my days at Velmead enjoyable and I remember him fondly. I hope he is back at the school as soon as possible.

My children were educated at Velmead under Mr Howard. Excellent headteacher, never had any doubt as to his innocence. Now that a court has found him not guilty, with his character unstained, he must be allowed to return to his job.

He taught our son for 4 years and was a great Head teacher. He put in a tremendous amount of hard work and long hours. He was well respected and liked by children and parents alike.

Mr Howard was a brilliant Head Master who was liked and respected by both children and parents. He put his heart and soul into Velmead school which showed by the extra hours he put in before and after school. He even had time to talk to the children during lunch and break times and even after school. Our son Josh often spoke to him whilst waiting for me to collect him....something which we never dared to do in 'our days'!He new how to be friendly yet keep his respect as a Head Teacher. We hope you come back to Velmead School Mr Howard so you can move on after your awful experience .
