Thanks to the Daily Mail for this petition, this country need every pound from the government to help the poor souls who are flooded, some repeatedly. Millions need to be spent on flood defences all over the UK especially as this will be a regular occurrance, we are the forgotten ones as disaster aid is concerned.

The possibility of our survival in the current worlds financial economic strength is realistically extremely poor. How we can survive the onslaught of uncontrolled immigrants coupled with almost uncontrolled charity to wealthy countries is beyond most of our citizens comprehension. When are our politicians of all parties going to awaken to our own present flood plight and accept this is NOT just a one off financial burden for so many Brits.

I think ALL foreign aid should be stopped until this country's hospitals, schools, flood defences, etc, etc are properly funded.

More money is needed to help our own in this country not giving it away to foreign countries who do not use it in the way it was intended.

Charity starts at home. So many overseas people are buying businesses in other parts of the world, why should we still send money. All public services are being cut but the money is being increased and sent overseas. I just dont understand why.

Joined up government would not be happy squandering our money on corrupt or very rich governments/dictators.This government should get it's act together and take whatever is needed for flood families from the FA budget.

It is right that our citizens and people are put first. To much is given away to States that fritter it away on hair brained schemes and corruption.

Let the African leaders share their money amongst the very poor in their country and cut back on their lavish lifestyle.
Why do we give money to India when they have more millionaires per head of the population than we have?

Why was the Environment Agency donating to the GAY community when rivers are not being dredged?
Surely the Agency is supposed to look after rivers that affect the environment and not become political????

much of the overseas aid we are told goes to countries like Argentina, China, India, and and the aid is used in part to purchase German products with our cash aid.

Counties who are still receiving aid and now have their own governments, should not be receiving aid from this country

stop all foreign aid until our own people are looked after properly. this includes flood relief, expensive drugs for those in need who are at present deniedand especially members of our armed forces who fought in world war two.
