This planning was done TOTALLY behind the backs of the people who live in this area where the track is planning on being built. We were NOT contacted in any way shape or form about the impact this would have on our property values or our quality of life. We do NOT consider them good neighbors building this in good faith as NO ONE in this area was contacted so we could attend Zoning hearings. Shame on HDRA for blindsiding the people who own property, and want to continue living quietly in our homes. Shame shame shame on them for working behind closed doors on zoning. And Shame on our local government and newpaper for not letting us know. We all should have received certified letters notifing us of zoning dates so we would know of the impact of this racetrack. Yes, you want a racetrack...but would YOU want it literally in YOUR back yard?
