This facility is vital for the Bundaberg Region. There is no end of research and statictical data that supports the need for the excellent services delivered by the IWC in this region. This project is a MUST.

I am a community support worker with a parenting program; the services and access that is offered by IWC is absolutely necessary in not only reducing the gap in health care for indigenous Australians but for the whole of the Bundaberg community and surrounding region. The facility is an excellent resource for whole of community.

(Bundaberg, 2017-01-31)

#3

We need more services in our community at the high level of standard which IWC provides

IWC provides a grate service to the Bundaberg community. Upgrading it's centre will provide more services to the local community and promote new jobs.

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-01)

#24

Bunadberg needs this extension to the existing IWC. Firstly and foremost is the medical services IWC already provides and what other services it intends to do in the future. We need more services in Bundaberg. We have a high proportion of people in Bundy living off welfare and a very high ratio of people with chronic conditions. We can know longer rely on medicare regarding the Patient Travel Subsidy. It takes up to 3 months for a claim to be reimbursed. It's also a nightmare to get on the public system. Bundabergs economic outlook is grim to say the least. Also the employment possibilities outweigh any arguments regarding funding. It will be an economic boost and is needed more than ever. So please fund this proposition from the IWC. Today before any credibility the government has left diminishes all together.

(Norville, 2017-02-01)

#25

I believe the IWC needs this funding to advance the much needed work they are doing in the community for both indigenous & non indigenous !!people

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-02)

#36

It is extraordinary that the Government isn't supporting the IWC. It will provide employment and further health services in our region which are so needed.

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-03)

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-07)

#52

Bundaberg has the highest unemployment and is one of the lowest economic towns within Australia until we stand united together and work for a better future in Bundaberg like those at IWC little will improve. The difference that has been made within our region with the development of the new IWC complex has been one of Bundabergs most needed resources. We need to support this development and help those within our region and surroundings.

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-07)

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-08)

This centre has been an amazing health centre and has a standard i believe that exceeds any other medical centre i have ever been to. The staff and doctors are amazing. I totally trust and support iwc all the way. I would not go anywhere else now and i share my high opinion of them with everyone i meet. They treat you like you are a person and care. They have set the bar very high in our community.

IWC supports people in remote areas

(Eidsvold, 2017-02-09)

#80

The wellbeing centre has done so much to improve the local community and further funding and expansion can only be more beneficial. Funds are spent wisely and nothing is wasted through bureaucracy.

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-09)

#81

IWC offer services to all. Without them our region will be even worse off regarding health issues for those who can not afford private health cover, so suffer; eg by not being able to afford even an annual visit to the dentist !

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-09)

#85

It's a great local organisation that employs local people and also looks after them.

#98

I am a user of IWC Dental Services.
They make all of their services available without distinction to everyone in our community; and all at affordable prices for those of us on no/low incomes. I believe that they have already demonstrated their professionalism and ability at delivering a range of quality and professional services in a modern environment. Please support them as well as you can. Thank you. And thank you to IWC as well.

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-13)

#103

They are doing extraordinary work and it works efficiently. More of the same is good business and better outcomes.

(Bundaberg , 2017-02-13)

#106

With an ageing population!
Low income 's and high dibeties this area needs these facilities so badly!
We also need education for better health and mental / drug and alcohol help. To avoid hospital stays and better long term outcomes!

(Bundaberg , 2017-02-14)

#108

I obtain drental services from IWC and would like to attend a GP as well all full needs to expand

(Bundaberg qld, 2017-02-14)

#109

Iwc works hard to collaborate with local leaders, health professionals and govt to provide the very best options for indigenous and mainstream communities in the bundaberg region. They must be supported to continue and expand on this region of great need. They know what they are doing and they do it well... What more does govt want???

(Bundaberg , 2017-02-14)

#111

We deserve it as other places have...

(Rustenburg, 2017-02-14)

(Gayndah , 2017-02-16)

#131

There are two main reasons I support this initiative from IWC. It will increase and supply much needed services to the more vulnerable in the Bundaberg community. Job opportunities in a very depressed labour market will be given a boost.

(Bundaberg, 2017-02-17)

#135

This is an essential community service needed in this region.
