I signed it not to get the teacher fired from his job but to let adults in charge of children realise that when a child is saying they need their inhaler it must be taken seriously.

It's awful how Nasser's School neglected him and allowed his illness to take a hold before acting. If he was supervised at all times then why wasn't it noticed that his illness had triggered and why wasn't his medication sort immediately? There's a lot that remains unexplained.

Headteacher must go along with the teacher that gave the detention and also the person that was meant to supervise him during the detention.
The School and its regulating authority should be held accountable for their part in detaining a vulnerable child under such conditions and the TRUTH surrounding his death should be brought to surface so this doesn't happen again.

Teachers have a duty of care, they must face sanctions appropriate to the level of their failure in providing that duty of care. It is very obvious that racisim is embeded in British culture, cancer of racisim can only be reduced, if teachers are taught that care and security must be provided fairly to all their pupils.

Assalamualaikum, the reason why I signed this is what the school did was wrong , it was not right with how they dealt with the sutution,  they knew how the child had health conditions,;basically he was left alone when he shouldn't have , and that's the reason why he isn't with us today , this isn't right we require justice and answers because this could happen to any other child

May Allah Tala make it easy for them at this difficult time..

#447 Lies

2016-11-17 17:49

So many lies have been spread around social media about this tragic incident. First of all this 'basement' is a ground floor room and he was not made to clean it, a teacher along with other students are always present when a detention is served and however unjust the punishment was it the environment he was in wouldn't have brought about his death. Either he was scared about was his parents would say about his detention or the illness he suffered was unprovoked. Don't believe all the lies about 'abusive teachers' or 'awful conditions' as they're simply not true. A tragic incident and we should all pray for him and the family but I believe the school is not at fault
