Very sad and I feel for all involved. But these idiot murders. Would not of obeyed any of the laws, lights, speed limits. So many accidents on this road, But I don't think there is a quick fit to stop it, Harsh I know, But fact..

Brilliant idea. Also may need camera's to watch the lanes for idiotic behaviour. If they spotted their driving further up perhaps they could have got police creating a rolling road block which would prevent the death of Aaron and Amy...just a thought?

Saving lives is more important than saving money, this young couple had their future's snatched from them, and left a small child without his mum, and a gaping hole in their families hearts which will never be filled, how can you justify this? Please take action now so this never happens again.

They need something sorting along the lines off traffic lights! Drivers like that will never learn!

I'm massively in support of this. However I drive on this road a lot and what I see time and time again is people not obeying the 40 speed limit. Traffic lights would slow traffic but what should happen is more police surveillance and speed cameras installed. I would be in full support of that cause as well. That is the only way we are going to stop tragic accidents like this from happening, if there were real consequences to drivers who ignore the speed limit.

Something needs to be done before more innocent people's lives are taken away.

The junction needed lights years ago but after the death of two young people I'm glad something is finally being done. R.i.p Aaron and Amy x

Thoughts with your family during this tragedy, hope you all get the justice and closure you all need, I worked a couple of shifts at their store covering while I was a manager and had the opportunity to work with them even though it was brief and I could tell they were fantastic individuals, a big loss to family friends and McDonalds

Two young lives needlessly lost leaving bereaved families and a shocked community whilst 2 idiots will no doubt get a pathetically short sentence and have learned nothing.

I live on Barton Road and I think that traffic lights at this junction would make it much, much safer to cross.
