It is a question of identity. I'm surprised the Longueuil administration are not sensitive to the facts.

Due to the fact it is the Original Name .... It means so much to so many people.

I grew up visiting my family home in Greenfield Park as well as going skating, play ball in that park. It will always be Greenfield Park to me!

I was born and raised in Greenfield Park during the 1930's and still live here today. My father was a founding member of the town, and it is extremely important to keep history and heritage as part of our society.

greenfield park is one of the best communities to live in, we should be proud to have it's name on our signs.

Playing in the park along Newbury and Watson street, figure skating at Cynthia Cool Arena, watching the Packers play football and being apart of the Canada Day parade along Empire street are all important memories of what Greenfield Park symbolized.

I went to schools in Lafleche (St. Hubert) & Greenfield Park I now live in GFP . I do not like the changes of the city to Longueuil as I do not live there as it is a separate and different city from the boroughs of St Hubert & Greenfield Park and can become confusing of where I live when giving my address. I also do not like it being on my hospital card as it says I live in Longueuil.

We live in Greenfield Park, not Longueuil! Diversity is beautiful, each burough can keep its own heritage/feel without diminishing Longueuil.

I'm proud to be from Greenfield Park. That means something to those of us that live here. We have a huge sense of community and it should be respected.

I signed the petition because I have lived here my whole life and I can not believe I have to fight for my language. Why can't we all get along.

Because I've lived in Greenfield Park for 51 years and that's what I want to identified as: a Greenfield Parker!

My Girls were Greenfield Park cheer leaders. My Grandson played for the Greenfield Packers football team. We live in greenfield Park.
We all have wonderful memories of this wonderful town. Please don't change the name.

Do you really think that by removing English names you are 'more' French? You are just plagiarists. Over a million people have left Quebec because of this bullying.. time for change.

We have been living in Greenfield Park for the past 36 years, and we have always been proud of our towns bilingual status.

I believe every city has a distinct flavor and look . It is maintained by conserving it's name as one preserves a language. There is history in a name.

I believe we had better municipal services when we were independent cities. It would be a shame to lose the heritage of small communities that care for each other and stick together.
