When we as community stand together as one voice for protection and against crime things can be done. I am tired of hearing complaints about crime and living in fear. We need to take a stand, take our homes, families and communities back! All things are possible when we stand together!  No to drugs, gangsterism & alcohol.  YES to education, religion and prosperous living.

I am signing this petition because of the violence in Mitchell Plain. On Monday for eg there was shooting near where I live in Rocklands. My 7 year old grandson fortunately goes to school with transport. What about the parents whose kids have to walk to school and they work? What a great concern isnt it for them. STOP THE CRIME RATE IN MITCHELLS PLAIN. EVICT THE GANGSTERS!

I have been a resident in m/plain for most of my life but our children can no longer play or walk the streets because of the senseless gang violence going on. We are losing our salaries because we can't go to work

I was born and raised in Mitchell's Plain. Attended school in Woodlands. I am 40 years old and never feared going about Mitchell's Plain, regardless of what the general opinion of the Plain was/is. I want to raise my daughter in the very same place, amongst family and friends. These gangsters fighting over turf; streets non of their forefathers bought or paid for; should be eradicated!!!!

We the people of M/P are tired of the drug dealers we have to walk past on our way to earn a decent living.Getting robbed of our hard working earnings. Our children are not safe in this very violent atmosphere, being traumatized in school or on their way to school, some don't make it to school, because of stray bullets.our basic human rights are being taken away because our goverment wont step in to help.this is no way to live!!!!!We want to live in "PEACE"

We are fearing foe our lifes especialy my innocent children's lifes whom cant even play in our backyard cause you'll never know when the shooting strikes or you cant even go in peace to the shops whithout looking around you. Why must we as innocent people live in fear or as hostages in your own home asif people that commited a crime.I was so upset and desturb when my 6year old daughter told me when i came from work of how the gangsters was shooting and how the boolets went into a classroom while the were having interval and how they had to run for ther lifes.!!!
