Don't be ridiculous and condone the mistreatment and neglect of innocent animals! Get with the 21st century for the love of God! Law enforcement is supposed to protect the innocent not the criminal!!

The police should be doing something about animal cruelty. These teenagers should be charged. Animals as a right to be loved to.

It is time we start holding children and teens responsible for their actions. How else can we teach them to be good adults?

Accountability is required for intentionally creating an environment where a living creature suffers and will likely die ...this is abuse.

The ignorance of animal abuse by the law and general public has to stop. This is a small step in accomplishing that goal.

So by doing this to the poor little harmless living creature, the young boy walks free and the police do nothing. No matter to what the child has, if any sore of disability, there should be something done, even if it's giving the child probation as to go and serve in the town, and the child never to be aloud to be around any type of animal, and that is including a family pet, the child should be charged for a domestic abuse to an animal, and it may happen again, and what if it could be a child and then what happens then???? Something needs to be done NOW!!!

Animal abuse is a major crime and that's the start of a serious problem especially in a young persons life. If he is able to abandon a kitten (and supposedly another cat as well), whose to say that he is fit to be a father? Leaving this young man unpunished isn't helping him, in fact it's worse than paying for his actions.  Eventually his crimes will get worse and more people will suffer. Step up your game rcmp. Make him suffer like this little kitten did, you should be ashamed of yourselves for watching an act like this happen...

I love animals and cherish every furr babies life. No human/animal should be treated like this. He should pay. He has a dog already and a kid on the way. What will happen to the child if he gets pissed off at it!? He needs to pay. We have laws in place for a reason....
