To lose john from the beechwood play scheme is a huge loss to the beechwood estate I have known john all my life and have never met a man so committed to his job it's not just a job to john he puts his heart and soul into the centre always going that extra mile to make sure the kids have the best the Christmas grottos and Halloween scare shows are just an example and people come from different estates just to see this I strongly urge anyone to rethink about moving john to another play scheme as the respect the children and parents of the beechwood estate have for john can never be replaced .

Keep john at the beechwood he does a fantastic job with all the kids , he looked after mine who are now30 and 32 and want him to carry on lookin after my grandkids. The estate would miss him dearly he is an amazing man, everyone appreciates what he does , everyone trusts him with their families, please keep him doing what he does best, he is the heart and soul of our estate .

I just would like to say big John is a massive part of our comunity and is a big part of all of our lives on the estate I am 22 now I went the centre from the age of 5 to 15 and then went on to being a volunteer and then getting a job a summer play worker and that was all from guidance and support from John and other members off the play worker team.. The centre will not be the same without John being there as he is the main part of that centre and without the atmosphere will not be the sam come guys everyone support big John to stay at the beechwood play scheme all my love John xxxx

Terrible, looks like the council are gonna eventually close all the Playschemes! When i worked there for the summer he was the only playworker every kid talked about! He is loved by the kids & the community and with out john there won't be a beechwood. Should get a paper petition goin for the kids give their voices a chance to be heard too. Good luck x

I used to live on the estate. I know John Quinlan. To lose this kingpin of the community would be detrimental to all and casts a suspicious light on the decision makers and their motives.

I can't express how much John Quinlan is the heart of the Beechwood community. I am extremely disappointed and frankly astounded at the decision to remove John from the play scheme. Every day he goes above and beyond for the children and in today's society I feel that the start that children have has a massive influence on the adults they become. Shame on you!

Why change something that has worked for 27 years. Why move a man from a job where he has the full trust of everybody. This day and age it's all about "TRUST".  This is a sad day for everybody on the Beechwood. Shame on you
