I will be a future resident of fernvale lea. This really is a nasty surprise for 2015! When we have worked so hard and save $ to own a flat after waiting for 3 years. Why were we not told in the first place? We were consumer also, what HDB meant is "this is public housing therefore we did not have a choice?". Then why let us choose in the first place? Might as well just allocate flats for everybody. Yet they know how to collect money from us !

One wonders why the need for the columbarium.

Some smart scholars may feel that Sengkang is a relatively young town with young married couples.

So they thought of this 'wonderful' idea to incorporate 'older' generations to the town.

How smart... 

Honestly speaking, temple with columbarium may be ok, however is the location that perhap need to re-considersate.....

My thoughs, a chinese temple that look like a typical type with columbarium may be look better than is loh....

Now we as PAPIES under P** ruling, what can we do !!! now ??? Can someone advise ???

Is not that can't build a columbarium near the resident area, is just that b4 hand is not stated CLEARLY in the plan.. If want a cemetery , why not but must stated big words not just a small little words ppl won't notice it.

 Do you all understand this fernvale temple as a "multi user place of worship"? could Fernvale be a pilot site? The hdb link below then states columbarium not allowed.
