There are definitely more students against his demands than those who want his demands in place. I certainly don't feel safe with him as src  president.

A person like this should never be seen as a leader

This will make us think twice about the type of person we elect as our SRC leaders.

How can anyone trust a leader that breaks down his own institution?

He tried to burn down the main building showing firstly that he has no respect for the university.. secondly he is an open rassist on Facebook which is unacceptable for a university with a no rassisim policy.

I signed this petition because this ENTIRE situation is unnecessary... As South-Africans we should stand together and help one another to build our future, but instead we are burning up the past.

After reading the list of demands, it is obvious that the src chairman has a political agenda with no idea of his role at varsity.

Because I am sick and tired of people who think they can rule the world and think they clever when actually immature and stupid

He would take part in polotics than to do his job for UFS. He is not suited to be part of the SRC.

Because of all that is going wrong in the wake of this man.

He is the reason for ruining our law faculty.... he is in no position to even continue his LLB studies.

Because I have family at the University and they are frustrated because they are unable to study and meet their targets

Dit is barbaars om so op te tree.
N opgevoede mens tree nie so op soos die betogers nie.
Studente wat rugbywedstryd probeer red het word nou as die oortreders beskou.
Betogers kan maak wat hul wil. Hul reg. Daar is nie iets soos n reg volgens my nie. Als in lewe is n voorreg. Maar onopgevoede mense sal jy nooit oortuig nie. Die twak moet NOU stop. Net blankes is verkeerd. Nooit swart nie. Stakings/betogings op alle kampusse moet verbied word. Politiek moet op kampusse verbied word. Dankie

Because I hate what is happening to our campus! I love it to be there and they are not treating it right!

As a parent of KOVSIE student I am very upset & disgusted in the fact that as a SRC he participated in recent violence & disruptions on UFS campus!

Because his views and demands are racist and not represent the majority of the students.

Nkosi sikelel' iAfrika (God seen Afrika, God bless Africa)

Our anthem consists of different languages. Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Afrikaans, English. All different. All unique. All equal. All important. Every person in this beautiful country is the same: all different, all unique, all equal, all important.

I really wish that we can build up our campus and country, rather that destroy it. There is so much more power in unity than there ever will be in violence. My wish for our campus is that, we as students, will take hands and do this together. I believe that there is still more good than evil in this world. Let us forgive, even though it still hurts. Let us reconcile with our brothers and sisters, even though our opinions and backgrounds may differ. Let us give love a chance, instead of hate.

Let us be the ones who build rather than tear down. Let us be the change that this country needs so desperately. And most important, let us do it TOGETHER. <3

Im a former Kovsie student and I remember there was a stage where everybody got along and started to move forward as one students and lecturers etc. I thought that was the turning point and one way and that was up. Ubuntu
