Queen Margaret has easier access than the Victoria to the motorway system.Dunfermline is growing fast and the size of it warrants it's own A & E. Seems to be confusion as to where we need to present with what injuries this needs clarification. Heart attacks etc it is too far to go to Victoria.

I think its disgusting having to travel all the way to Kirkcaldy, when I live 7 miles outaide Dunfermline. I also had to travle here the other day while loosing alot of blood, if QMH was open I could of had the problem sorted soon, but no I lost even more blood having to travle to The Vic!!!!!

The Vic can not cope with things at the moment and have had far to many complaints since the new part opened.
How many more people have to suffer or loose a life before we reopen the QMH.
There are plans for 250 homes to be built up in Wellwood, Plus all the other new homes being built beside the collage.. Also all the New ones up duloch and beside Amazon.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. How long is it going to take before these so called Councillors see some common sense.
The Scottish Parliament should be making plans to reopen the Queen Margaret. And our so called Councillors that don't forget we put them where they are should all be put out at the next election. At least we have the power to do that so lets tell them reopen the QMH or you wont get our vote. Its high time we took a stand on this so lets see more people sign this. THANK YOU.

To have a large equipped hospital on our door step but yet having to travel 20+ mintues (dependant on where you live) in a life or death situation to get care is absolute madness and will cost lives

Dunfermline needs A&E facilities, should never have been taken away!

Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline should be fully reopened for the convenience of Patients. This must be viewed as a requirement not merely an option.

My views entirely Elizabeth. Hopeful that the powers that be have another look into this farce and see sense, money should never be a concern when it comes to the health and treatment of the infirm.

Kirkaldy is too far away. We need an accident and emergency service nearer to Dunfermline.

Bring back our A & E, with more and more housing being built within Dunfermline, we need this service in Dunfermline. Two buses to get to the nearest A & E is downright irresponsible and dangerous.

My daughter had a seizure and was taken to our nearest hospital, the Royal Forth Valley in Larbert. 10 miles away. The paramedics did not know where the Vic was as the ambulance came from Stirling. The hospital inLarbert did not have access to the medical records of patients in Fife as NHS computer systems are not linked up. Its a disgrace that we have to travel 20 miles to A&E. daughter is now waiting for an MRI scan with an 8 week waiting list !!! Our NHS is a joke currently.

think its ridiculous in a town the size of dunfermline we need to travel to kirkcaldy in an emergency when the local hospital has the ammenities on our door step. Surely its more sensible to treat emergincies quicker.

Dunfermline is a city ..how many other citys do not have an a & e ... its a matter of life or death for the population of this "city"

A friend of mine had a heart attack. He can see QMH from his house less than 1mile away. Taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. What sense in that ??? Surely quicker patient to hospital the better chance of survival.
