Kirkcaldy is far to far away for emergencies. Dunfermline is in a central location and therefore makes more sense to bring it back!!!!

What good is an empty new hospital where some wards have never been used. Dunfermline hospital is easy to get too with a lot of parking even if more could be provided raised like a multy storey with several levels, YES give us our hospital back so we dont have to die on the A92 rushing for help.

As a resident of Cairneyhill, and a Dad to two kids, I feel it's a disgrace that we have to drive through the middle of Dunfermline, past a perfectly serviceable hospital, and on to Kirkcaldy before we reach an A&E department.

The leaders of the health board in fife are a joke, most nights there is a horror story on the news from the Vic in Kirkcaldy, get A&E back to Dunfermline !!!

Queen Margaret Hospital should never have been transferred to the Victoria, its about time they got rid of so called management and brought in more nurses and allow them to do the job they were trained to do

I think it's a disgrace that Dunfermline does not have A&E and I have to travel several miles to the far side of Fife at greater risk to myself.

A&E should never have been moved from an area that is constantly expanding in the first place

It is a Complete disgrace that Queen Margaret is not being used as it should . It's a much nicer newer and cleaner building than the Vic! It's a waste of money lying dormant.

The latest horror story about the NHS Fife prompted me to write. It is as plain as the nose on NHS Fife's face, that this situation cannot be allowed to continue. Fife is simply too big to have only one A/E. There should be two A/E centres in Fife. I'm sure that well worn words and phrases will be used by officials to explain why decisions were made but this simply won't wash. Budgets are the reason why there is only one A/E in Fife but why should we pay for past mismanagement of budgets.

I live as far west as you can get and the Vic is 24 miles away from me one way. 2 years ago I had a brain haemorrhage and if that was to happen again there is no way I would survive the journey necessary to go to the Vic. I would really love to see the hospital that is now going to waste be reinstated to an A&E asap. If any of my kids were to fall seriously ill and I was to drive all the way to Kirkcaldy and I was to lose them through the fault of NHS I would definitely see them in court. What an waste of a great hospital.

Dunfermline should have full medical services available - including A&E and maternity services.

The NHS has failed us again, by moving the A and E to Kirkcaldy it's failing to provide a service to west fife residents, the population of Dunfermline slimed should say enough

Yeh feel that this must be restored as the service from kirkcaldy is not up to standard from this part of fife totally no regard for service users trying to get there then find place to park at great cost in fuel cost,we have a hospital not in much use close by.

I think its shocking that people from the Dunfermline and surrounding areas have to go all the way to Kirkcaldy for treatment when we have a good hospital in Dunfermline.

Kirkcaldy is much to far to go for a/e if your having a heart attack tough cookie your dead by the time your ambulance comes and you get to hospital but the government don't care till they want your vote

There is currently almost 367,000 people in fife currently, and almost 40,000 just in Dunfermline alone, not taking into account our surrounding area's which add's to roughly about 10,000 maybe 15,000. currently 367,000 people need to use one a & e service which could be even 30/40 minutes away if your on the west of dunfermline. The council are idiots. always have been, always will be. anything to get a payrise!
